Ricardo Sales joined GA's São Paulo office in 2013, and focuses on investments in a variety of industries in Latin America. He currently serves on the board of SAS Sistema de Ensino and has previously been involved with the firm's investment in Linx and Smiles.
Prior to joining the firm, Ricardo was an analyst in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs, where he focused on the Latin America region.
Ricardo is the Co-founder of Primeira Chance, a scholarship program for gifted children in Brazil.
Ricardo earned an M.B.A. from Stanford's Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Electronic Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico de Aeronautica (ITA-SP).
